Can someone tell me what this plug is?

I just picked up a brand new 2018 ST last Saturday and sorry if this comes off as stupid but can someone tell me what the hell this plug is that sits on top of the radiator? The wire that it’s attached to runs past the battery and down toward the rear of the engine by the turbo. Ive been looking at other engine bay pictures and don’t see it on other peoples cars lol.
