Is there any benefit to having a CCV catch can when you already have a PCV catch can?

Most of what I hear (both from the vendors selling BOTH PCV/CCV side OCCs, and on this site) is that it is overkill unless one is running a very high boost/power BIG turbo setup.

But maybe someone can come on here and give another opinion, or facts otherwise? [dunno]

I have one on the pcv side, but also plan on doing one on CCv side eventually. Just for the hell of it

That's what I figured. I started reading all of these threads about carbon build-up on intake valves and started to wonder if there would be some sort of benefit to the ccv catch can.

It's easy enough to just pull the hose to see if it's wet with oil. Mine's been bone dry for the past 16000 km.
