Rick, that intake only works without a battery too, lol.

Who needs a battery! :):)

Drag racers never mind, those that can move the battery to the rear, do not mind some fab work, etc.....;)

Two questions.... I wonder if the stock Hotside charge pipe with the donuts hurts power? The intake can quite possibly hurt power with the bottle neck being right in the middle of the pipe much like the donut. Albeit, ATP says that the Stock pipe is adequate for the stock turbo. I dont see why they would say that if they wanted to sell the charge pipe.

ATP actually says the stock compressor outlet is a restriction, which is why they replaced it on their shop car.

The air intake maybe worth a couple horses, 1-4hp on a stock turbo, but a turbo that is at 13-14psi at 6500rpm vs one that is at 24psi at 6500rpm is pretty different.

Even more... The mass air difference is pretty big between the two turbos.

When your really polishing a turd, 1-4hp + 1-4hp is 2-8hp. The difference between 220whp and 228whp is a nice difference in a fiesta, lol.

As far as the intake, the big deal for me would be spool-up. I'm betting the 2J intake on my specific car would make a 10ft. Of torque difference at least. It could lower my rpm at which X boost is reached. If I can get to 28psi earlier, it could make huge difference. Lol.

On the stock turbo running much lower boost and making 29psi at 2800rpm, that kind of stuff just doesn't change the world, but even on the stock turbo ( that doesn't need help spooling ), joe reported increased response ( on his pro-tuned car ).

What will it do on my car with a cyborg? Time will tell, lol.

ok, I got ya. ATP upgraded the compressor outlet pipe on the GT2254 that made 265whp ( I think that's what it made, I don't look at the GT2554 much ).

I honestly felt the car had some gain from the SS delete, lol. looking at the COMP outlet, that looks way worse for power, lol.

I was kinda hoping my buddy that builds the inlets I sell would get bored and build me a really nice comp outlet pipe, lol. But he hasn't been THAT BORED I guess, lol. I'll stop being lazy and do Ricks comp outlet mod soon... Its like $30.

Nope. Its the cheap-o Go-pro HD 1.
The mounts are much nicer than edging my phone between the head rest and seat though, lol

I actually converted them to video being right side up, but it made it where youtube would not except them for some reason...

Keep in mind... I'm sitting around my mom's house doing jack nothing ( when I have stuff to do ) while I was doing this. I waited over an hour for the 4 videos to upload then it said, "they are not an expected format". So i had to start all over again and just upload raw files.

My laptop was $85. So... Its not really a video processing dynamo, lol. And the go-pro was a Xmas/birthday gift ( yes, we are poor, lol ).

Lol, that's crazy. I've never had an issue uploading to YouTube with my GoPros. Either way, I can lock my iPad screen and turn it upside down, lol. $85 for a laptop is a good deal if it does what you need. It's not about how much you can spend, it's how much you do with what you have. The same goes with success.

Its been good to me for tuning so far. I had a laptop that was like 10months old ( $425 new ). But it ran windows 8.1 and i hated it. It stopped coming on one day, so I replaced it with something that has XP on it. Thank god.

I always did like XP and so far no issues with 8... Now vista was a different story, lol. I had a little netbook that I used for logging in my mustang with SCT tuning but it crapped itself after only a few uses.
