Hey guys so I just got my FiST and it came with a Cobb access port, I didn't know what it was until I made some research and I'm already stage 1 tune, but idk where to go from here. What I'm asking is what's the next step I should take after the tune. The only thing I can see that my st has is a ultimate racing full exhaust.

It sounds like you're going to need to do a full inspection to see what else you've got installed. Without us or you knowing what other parts are installed for sure it's hard to recommend anything specific.

If you've got the access port and a full exhaust you're already on you way past stage 1. Look at the parts that Cobb recommends for stage 2 and 3 and go from there I suppose.

I inspected the car and it seems like thats the only thing it has, im thinking about getting a intercooler and a drop in air filter not really feeling an intake and then going stage 2. thoughts?

What do you want to do with the car? Daily drive? Track/autocross? Weekend canyon carving? There are a ton of builds on here for all different types of driving to get ideas. My car is also fairly new to me and I am well on my way to building what I want and have an idea of future parts I need. I want to build a fast daily driver so I went stage 1 with a drop in filter. I'll eventually go to stage 2 and get the FMIC, but handling and drivability is more important to me than power, so I got a set of nice sticky summer tires with more sidewall and a lighter set of wheels. I also got a stronger RMM, short shift adapter, and transmission bushings to make shifting more crisp and enjoyable. There is a ton of cool things you can do with this car, both for performance and for appearance. Just decide what you want, do your research, set a budget, and have fun! This forum is full of wonderful people with amazing amounts of car knowledge, so you won't have any trouble getting questions answered.

Yea I've noticed everyone is really friendly I use to own a si and all those forums had really rude people.. But I'm trying to make it a fast daily I'm thinking stage 2 and getting fmic within the next month and upgrading the motor mount and a drop in filter, I'm also thinking about wrapping my roof black with the wing as well and maybe doing a wing lift because it kinda looks cool, what have you done to your FiST and what color is it? If you don't mind me asking

If you're going for a "fast daily", definitely get a good FMIC and then you can load the Stage 2 map, or better yet get with a Pro Tuner and get a custom tune that'll maximize your setup. After that the gains are pretty minimal until you go with a bigger turbo, whether that be a hybrid-stock like a Cyborg or Pumaspeed, or a balls-out big-turbo kit.

I would recommend the Cobb RMM or any other one for that matter (I have the Cobb) along with the drop in filter since both are really good bang for your buck mods and are ridiculously easy to install. I agree that the wing risers look cool, but they mess with the aerodynamics of the car. I'm not saying don't get them, but it's just something to consider. Right now I'm "stage 1" Cobb map. I invested in a good set of tires/wheels because most of my driving is traffic light to traffic light. I'll eventually go stage 2 and get the FMIC, but all that power doesn't mean anything to me if my wheels are spinning and I have no traction. I have a weighted shift knob which I like from Boomba, and also got their shift plate adapter and bushings which I hope to install this weekend. I can't comment on how I like them, but others have said this is their second favorite mod next to the Accessport. Again, for me, crisp shifts were more important that power, so I'm doing that before the FMIC. I think my next mods will be the OCC and bracing for peace of mind and increased stability. Then next year when I've gotten used to the car and how it handles, I'll get the FMIC to up the power to keep things interesting. At least that's my plan now, but we'll see. You can jump up to stage 2 or even 3 right away or even go big turbo; it's all about what type of driving you do/enjoy.

I have a 2016 Kona Blue; I liked the orange, but didn't want to draw unwanted attention and also liked the Metallic Grey, but I already have a Grey car so went with something different. I got the sunroof just because coming from a Miata, I wanted to minimize missing the convertible as much as possible. I also got the ebony wheel package but it didn't come with the red calipers which I'm still trying to get Ford to replace. I skipped on the Nav because I use my cellphone and also skipped out on the Recaro's just because the extra $2k put me over my budget, I don't plan to race the car, and I found the standard seats more comfortable.
