Cobb acessport question

Planning on purchasing one soon. I have read elsewhere that uninstalling before taking it into a dealership shows no signs of modifications on the ecu. Just want to make sure i wont get denied a warrantee claim if one does arise.

Then don't install it...as far as I know they will see a code set for the battery being disconnected and that is a sign that the vehicle has or had been tampered with. But hard to prove. Good luck....

I suppose the ones best equipped to answer your question work at a dealer. Maybe we'll get lucky and have one chime in on the topic. Lots of people have "friends" or "have heard" certain things. I would be interested to hear a definitive answer from someone actually in the know.

There's a flow chart they follow that specifies. aftermarket hardware or ecu flashes. It's on a mustang forum.
