I know the AccessPort always warns you to hook up a battery charger when you are installing or uninstalling, but I assumed it was just a formality on their part so they couldn't be sued if your battery dies and your ECU is fucked. But today I uninstalled for the first time to take the car in for service and noticed that it took a little longer to turn over when I started up. I'm just wondering if anyone has actually had a battery die during/after installing/uninstalling and whether it actually bricked the ECU. Or are people typically using battery chargers as recommended?
