Alrighty guys, im sure there are 6-8 different places to mount the AP in our car, anywhere from easy to see but sort of in the way to out of the way but not so easy to see. My AP should arrive Wednesday and i just wanted some ideas of where to mount it, gonna have to make sure it doesnt block my vents (it will be 120 soon where i am).

Thanks guys! If this isnt the right spot mods feel free to move it, just didnt think it belonged in the tuning section.

Maybe a bit too close, but also the Pro-Clip Pillar mount, not cheap but worth it!

If you trim the mount with a blade, you can mount it up higher on the vertical window support. It results in less plastic gripping around the corner of the vertical window support on your fiesta, but it allows the Cobb AP to be situated more vertical. I also added a gimbal to allow rotation.

P/N 215199 2 prong mounting plate with tilt swivel. $34.99
P/N 804253 Left Mount $29.99

I'll take a pic later to show what I mean.

sounds good. looking forward to the pics

now we just need map switching via our cruise control and flat foot shifting.

I ordered that proclip and a $9 version of the same double t mount swivel that comes w/ the accessport

I decided to be different and mount it to a flat corner of my Navi good, looks fantastic if you ask me and it doesnt block my AC vent at all.

I'm surprised that some of you right handed guys are mounting your AP mount on the left side. I'm a lefty, so my location works well for me.

Im a righty so this works good, plus i did not want to mount it to the vinyl soft dash in case it should somehow tear it for whatever reason. And i really didnt wanna pay more money for the a-pillar mount. This works perfectly so far.

Stuck mine to that exact spot as well, if I need to pull off the mount it should clean fairly easily.

I have to leave my windows open quite often so a more middle of the car mount is a must, to easy to snatch and run by the pillar.

Best one in my opinion. Does it just mount with double-sided tape?
