How about having the EST start up in SPORT or OFF mode.

On-The-Fly map changes, like I'm cruising w/my Econ tune and some ************************* in a Civic Si rolls up, press Cruise Control - or something and map switches to Stg I 91 etc.

Auto On-Off for AP = AccessPORT turns itself off automatically when car shuts off. The accessport does not currently do this and will stay running whether or not the car is as long as it's connected.
Really Good Idea! I Second These!!:)

The sound symposer is a physical device not operated by the ECU. Turning it "off" means you have to "delete" aka physically remove it from the vehicle.

Well, you've got to plug the holes up. There's a DIY somewhere around these forums.

Just got done doing a 60mile scenic round trip to get E85 and realized that when its too hot to turn the AC off and ride with the windows down, that it would be nice if the AC system could come on/off with load/rpm/boost or a combo of the million sensors on the car. So basically, when I in the calm straights and driving normal, its on like normal, but then when I'm asking for full power/race it could auto turn off the AC compressor.
Because other wise... I end up running the AC, then switching it off for a group of corners, then... Back on for 45-90sec, then back off. On then off, on then off.

I think we have a variable AC compressor ( vs ON/OFF TYPES), but the AC pulls like 185hp out of the 197hp it has, so sport driving while its on kinda stinks, as does toggling it on/off like a "high boost switch".

The AC Compressor should disengage at a certain engine load, most modern cars do that now so the sudden load change doesn't mess up the Compressor clutch. The light might still be on the dash while the AC clutch is disengaged.

If this is actually being considered I'd request that it be made an optional feature. Personally I would hate this.
I'd imagine it would be optional like FFS and LC, so no worries there.

We know how to drive. It's a cool feature that many might appreciate, and would be optional.
