Hi there. I'm traveling across canada again!
Instead of staying in hotels and such I'm going to be sleeping in my car.

I'm looking to take out my passenger seat back support and leaving the base of seat in so that the airbag system stays on.
Also be removing the back support in the rear seats.
Any suggestions or tips for someone who has done this type of mini conversion?
Thanks.

Get an air mattress! Fills the space nicely and fits under the driver seat when deflated. Not sure what you need or want in your mini camper but sleep is a must!
Absolutely, I'm going to build some type of wooden platform for the space in-between the passenger seat and the rear and grab a memory foam, then air mattress and should be good as gold! I have a roof rack with a sport rack storage box I snagged for $100.

Order one of those rally window vents and glue netting to the inside
I was thinking of exactly this. You can get them with mesh already on them, but it’s probably not as fine as I’d want for the purpose of keeping bugs out. Just get some window screen by the foot from the hardware store and glue it. I’d put some rain guards too so I could keep the windows cracked during the rain without getting wet.

Are you looking for this conversion to be easily reversible?

Not entirely. I am concerned about having the airbag light come on when I remove the passenger seat and then it deactivating the rest of the air bags.
