What's good gangsters?
FINALLY AFTER YEARS OF DREAMING AND STALKING YOU PEOPLE I Picked up a performance blue fiesta st!
Obviously I can't stop talking about it and I had a novel thought that I should put that energy here for better and more constructive experience. I love the subjective relationship i've already started building with the machine - I feel it knows me better than I know myself and I'm just over 1,000 miles!

All that being said I'd love to discuss things and maybe turn this into a build thread at some point, I'm trying to learn the car as much as I can before I change anything.
Aesthetics - performance blue is not the color I wanted... Metallic was the dream car, followed by white, then black.... but beggers can't be choosers and the blue is growing on me a lot and even though it's a brighter blue it still makes it look "normal", which someone with a heavy foot that's totally okay with me.
the blue is tough to match IMSO, so I think I want to go the dark gold/bronze route for accent on rims etc.... should I keep the boombas red?
ST is already debagged (weight reduction.... right?)
"fiesta" is there for shits and giggles but will be removed
Mud Flaps are a must - I already shot some mud up my car driving in the mountains last weekend
any other functional aesthetic recommendations are welcome!!!

I do a lot of city driving, Do I have to justify my choice for a manual here? lol, so I NEED 1st and 2nd gear to pick up some slack the detuning of first and second gear is a plague that must be addressed.
So a Cobb access port is in my future
Custom tune? I live at elevation.... I honestly have very little experience with tunes, actually zero... I've tuned zero cars.

This is really all I plan for power - I don't necessarily need to go "faster" I just want the power to be distributed more efficiently. I sometimes thing this car would be fine with just 5th as an overdrive gear. Torque steer doesn't bother me at all.
Opinions and thoughts welcome
Tires - taking recommendations on winter and summer tires bang for buck as always, I'm no jeff gordon BUT I like decent tires.
Handling - ehhhh I don't want to break the suspension because it's amazing as is but I'd like to improve it with some bracing and possible sway bars, I don't want to manipulate the balance of the car in a negative way, Suggestions welcome here as well.
Previous car was an 08.5 MSP3 (best car ever) and I bolted on a bunch stuff but that was about it --- spoiled rotten on a hatch pushing 300hp that thing was an animal.
