Reviving this since I couldn't find much info on the Dizzy Aggressive Pedal option. I ran Dizzy V2 E30 and 93 octane tunes on my last ST, and once I got this new one sorted out I contacted him to try out V3.
I loved his V2 files, but my only minor complaint was the throttle (to me) felt a bit progressive. He claimed in an email to me yesterday that the base throttle mapping in V3 is "slightly more touchy" compared to V2, but also suggested the Aggressive Pedal option. Decided it only made sense to try the aggressive pedal so I will report back once I have some time on the new V3 flash. Glad to hear you're liking it!
Update on Dizzy V3 flash and aggressive pedal option after a few hundred miles so far. I went with 91 octane, stage 2. Our area has 92 octane out of the pump and I figured I'd let the adaptive spark add some if it wishes, rather than rely on it to take spark away if needed (if running 93 tune).
Aggressive Pedal - this is awesome. Exactly what I was looking for, and right at the "limit" before it gets too artificial imo. It does have similar part throttle response and tip in behavior as my H/C/I C6 Corvette, which is a weird thing to say about a car with half the cyclinders and less than 1/3 displacement. Very torquey, no dead spots, no surges. Just a fun, responsive pedal input at all rpm.
As for the rest of tune, great as always from Jason. For a flash tune on a car with basic mods like mine (intercooler, intake, dv+, colder plugs), this is an absolute no brainer and tremendous value. Ignition corrections were +2.5 on every WOT pull, so plenty safe and working as intended. Boost builds well and peaks around 23psi in my current warm-ish weather. Raised idle feels smooth with powerflex yellow inserts and AWR 62a rmm. Honestly 95% as smooth as stock with miles better response.
Power is as expected. I do think the Cobb v506 OTS files are a little stronger than their v500 OTS maps, as the jump in WOT power from v506 to Dizzy V3 wasn't quite as massive as v500 to Dizzy V2, but that could also be me forgetting some things from 7 years ago. It's still a big jump, don't get me wrong.
Overall, 10/10. Would do again. Ran a number of different tune files on my first ST, so have plenty to compare to. Dizzy V3 is the shit.
