Ive had my 2015 mk7.5 fiesta ST for about 5 years now and ever since getting it i've had this issue, after driving the car for around an hour (sometimes less sometimes more) the orange spanner warning light comes up and I lose turbo power. the car still runs as normal just without turbo. if you stop and turn the car off for 5 minuets it resets and i can get another 45 minuets of driving before it will fail again. Doesn't matter what driving you're doing it will happen, most of the time its the gentle motorway driving that will make it come up fastest. i've had the car looked at during services multiple times but no one can seem to solve the issue..

Any help is greatly appreciated as this has been an absolute pain for many years now and I drive the car a lot, its currently on 112,000 miles.

My issue mirrors the OP's almost exactly. Generally comes on after about an hour of driving. It's definitely intake related (as messing around a little with cleaning the MAF sensor and changing filters affected the frequency of the light coming on). All hose clamps are tight. The car is a 2016 with almost 70k miles. Mountune 215 kit installed by previous owner and I suspect that could be where the issue stems from...
