Hey FiST'ers,
I just saw a thread about heating system causing a whistle, https://www.fiestastforum.com/threads/heater-noises.23721/ , and I didn't want to hijack that thread. That being said, I am experiencing a clicking sound in my heating/cooling/environmental controls. The sound occurs when switching which vents to use. I normally leave the vent on defrost, almost never use dash or floor vents (If I want a breeze I do some shenanigans with the windows or sunroom). Long story short, if I turn my fan off there is a clicking sound. It sounds like a plastic vent deverter is trying to move, obstructed by something, and will continue to repeat about five to ten times. After that it will make the move (you can actually transition between the vents). Either way, when the click sound starts I normally just go, oh right, and put it on defrost. Has anyone else run into this?
Party on Wayne.
