Yup, Ken Block's wife, Lucy, is running the Mk.7 (our model year range) version of that car in the American Rally Association Championships, in the Open 2WD class.

Nasty little rides which are capable of much more 'pace' down the stages than one would think, with the help of that Sadev sequential, and Reiger 3 way adjustable coil over suspension.

That thing if federalized would easily be a $40k+ vehicle.

Limited numbers so almost guaranteed markup come dealer time.

The unfortunate truth is that the market just doesn't exist for a hardcore speciality High HP subcompact FWD car here...

As they like to say, the Americans think theyre too 'smart' to pay for that kind of product. To me the jury is still out on that.
