Good god...turn off the $ quotient, you'll never own one, neither will I...

The design. The architecture. The technology. The performance. The story. It's gorgeous.

For 400k+ dollars you can buy 18 Fiestas. Yet the sum of those fiestas will never equate to a single GT. And that's commendable FORD, congrats

Built down the street Nice rides. What is best is Ford has tried to force the buyers to be those that will drive them not just store them.

The vast majority will be bought up and put in storage for the collectors and investors, as well as put in museums, w/very few ever seeing the road, just like the last one Ford produced.

Cost to insure aside, the Raptor is streetable. The GT is only trackable.

It's great, I'm sure. But I would be in an Acura NSX. Its available to be purchased by people who aren't either a C.E.O. or in the NBA, NFL or NYSE. And the only writing skills needed are the ability to sign your name.

For those who say the NSX isn't carbon fibre intensive enough, a carbon roof is an option. I don't know what that costs or if it includes other lightened components. But it's available.

Oh yeah, you don't have to be Jay Leno or Jerry Seinfeld to get an NSX.

IF I had enough coin to afford EITHER of the above anyway, I (unlike pretty much everyone else on here) will take the Blue Oval choice over the H badge choice, every time. ;)

(and that goes TRIPLE for the FoRS over the Type R as well)

yup. You will pay just about three times as much for the GT.

People just don't get it. Next time there may not be the right decision makers in place to help correct for our choices and mistakes.

All the empty slogans aside, the folks that are in power now didn't have the audacity or the balls to bet on (invest in) the home teams.

I TOTALLY agree with you on this point, but sadly, WE are in the vast minority both on here, AND in this nation in general. [:(]
