'15 PB FiST purchased about 6 months ago. Also have a '63 Karmann Ghia ( #gulfghia ) which is really where my passion lies in air cooled vw's

Got out of my MKVI for the FiST and best move done car wise and " scene " wise. I love this car!

Been browsing the site for some time to gather what info and idea's I could. started doing some stuff
to the car and seems like a great site so I decided to join.

Photography and anything automotive about sums it up.

Thanks.

Where do you go to track yours? Wouldn't mind tracking mine... and meeting some local members!

I'm by no means a track junkie. Only been a couple of times, but enjoyed them immensely! My local track is PBIR, and Sebring and Homestead are about 2 hours away. Here are links to the local organizations:

Autocross:

ERSCC: http://erscc.com/ (Based out of Broward County. Website is old, but calendar is updated. Ran one event with them, and had a good time. Autocross is a blast for 60 seconds at a time, but the rest of the day gets kinda' long.)

HPDE:

Chin: https://www.chinmotorsports.com/default.aspx (Highly regarded from what I've read. Also expensive.)
NASA: http://www.drivenasafl.com/ (Never tried them. Tend to use tracks which may be closer to your area.)
Hooked on Driving: https://www.hookedondriving.com/ (Did one track day with them. Pretty well organized. Good coach.)
Performance Driving Group: http://performancedrivinggroup.com/ (Did one track day with them. Also fairly well organized.)
The HPDE: https://thehpde.com/ (Never tried them before. Seem to be cheaper than others with promotional discounts for certain makes on different weekends.)
SCCA: http://flscca.com/ (Track nights seem to be getting popular. Thursday nights don't work well for me, but the price is right.)

If you sign up for the various mailing lists discounts will pop up from time to time. Have fun, and let us know if you plan on heading out [raceflag]

congrats on you new purchase, I also am a huge fan of karmann Ghia's. I was the owner of a 1969 and a 1972 cabriolet. Both were a dark orange.
