I'm not sure, on mountune's website it says that this intercooler is "50 state legal". I've never heard of anyone having a problem with that though I think you'd be okay if it didn't

Mountune's FMIC is CARB legal. Mountune borrowed my car last October to get it certified at SEMA here in SoCal and gave me one for letting them use my car
