Ford Fiesta wrong fuel consumption goodwill payout

For those of you looking into if the Fiesta ST fuel consumption change will result in a nice cheque in the mail, unfortunately it won't The Fiesta ST has retained it's combined fuel consumption rating so no changes have affected us owners. However if you have a standard Fiesta, youre in luck. Here's the link from Ford.

As stated, who buy's it for MPG's? Don't get me wrong, I drive mine in city driving 99% of the time and not gently either and I still get 22mpg. If I go on a weekend trip I will get 34mpg on the highway. Impresses me

ill be honest I bought the car for MPG. if I was ok with 22mpg I would of kept my 2013 mustang GT 5.0 as my DD. i would guess most people on this forum bought there car to have something that gets great MPG and is fun to drive. if MPG didn't matter why not just buy a boss 302 an DD that. its a car that handles great an performs extremely well.

It's really the best of both worlds, i come from B6 Audi S4 (4.2L V8) and trust me, in Canada, gas prices are ridiculous, 100$ to fill every 4 days. I wanted performance and gas mileage. it was a hard transition from the Quattro drive to a FWD, we'll see how she does in the winter. However I absolutely love this car right now. Everything I could ask for in a price range that you just can't beat. Not to mention I was dropping some serious money into repairs for the S4. Now, something breaks I drop my keys off and say fix it!
