Hola,

I purchased a used 2015 FiST and really liking it on the whole and first time owning a turbo vehicle so I'm doing a bit of learning. Previous owner added a 'bov spacer' which goes psssshhhhht which is semi-annoying (I strongly prefer quiet cars) but I can live with it. I'm wondering what effect this has on the engine performance (if any). I'm not concerned about making additional horsepower, but would like to make the engine even more responsive at the low end. Does the BOV spacer make the engine less/more responsive? Is there a different 'bov' I can use - or even return it to stock? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

And a second question which could be related to the first: Why is there so much rev hang? I know there's the 'emissions' reason but it sure feels like a lot. What, if anything, can I do to have the engine drop RPM faster?
