Lol. That's just a "2018" slapped onto the Fiesta ST.

The legit new gen Fiesta isn't being sold in North America.

The story which was going around was that there would be no 2018 Fiesta ST, old or new generation, in the US.

In the later pages in that other 2018 thread, it was mentioned the 2018's are just going to be recycled with the prev gen Fiesta.

Good that the Fiesta will still be around for another year.. Better than nothing.

The fact of the matter is, Ford has to keep the Fiesta line going, or introduce something similar, in order to meet their mileage numbers here in the US.

As for the ST, once Ford stops selling it here in the US, you will see a BIG dry up of aftermarket parts being offered here.

If Ford should eventually offer the new generation Fiesta ST in the US, will it even sell w/it's three (3) cylinder engine?

By watching their (Ford's) trends, they will probably just produce more either hybrid, or cylinder de-activation type I.C.E. equipped pickups and SUVs/CUVs in order to meet any not rolled back by Scump's crew, CAFE regs, disgustingly enough! [vommit]

Gotta keep those profit margins WAY UP THAR for the insatiably greedy shareholders, of course. [mad]

Thanks for the news!
Now, they NEED to just start flocking advertise their smaller vehicles. [:(!]
Every small vehicle ad I see is NOT from Ford or GM...

Do you have a 401K? If so, then you are one of those insatiably greedy shareholders. [screwy]

Nope, no 401K, no effing hedge funds, and no other investments.
I CANNOT afford to gamble like everyone else, (and chance losing EVERYTHING, yup, even if you're 'smart' and a "financial genius") which is exactly what "investing" is, sans the 'low life' stigma associated with all other forms of gambling.
I don't trust those Gordon Gekko/Bobby Axelrod yuppiedrone POS F**KS 1/10trillionth as far as I can throw them, and I REFUSE to entrust my life to these gold-chained casino playerz. ;)

I DO want Ford (AND GM, and maybe even Fiat-Chrysler) to survive against the foreign corporate onslaught (even if it means NOT building everything here), but I want them to do so while STILL providing at least some passenger CAR performance options. [driving]

Yes, and these low life fascists in power now are cutting the financial regs which safeguard against that S**T from happening AGAIN down to nothing, leaving our economy open to something which will make the late 1920's-early 1930's Great Depression look like an open bar PARTY at Mar-A-Gaudy-O. [mad]

Another year of sales helps keep the community alive, even if those sales are minimal.
Looks like the Fiesta is dead in Canada. Website only has 2017 Fiesta listed, while all the other cars are onto 2018.
lol, guess the sales weren't high enough in Canada to even merit one more year of extension on the old gen.

Please read this post about a member who already ordered his 2018 ST in Canada with the actual order slip sheet: http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/...lable-to-order?p=275127&viewfull=1#post275127

I also contacted Ford Canada and they told me ST is available for 2018 but they did not have the time to change the configurator.

So what are you doing to set yourself up for retirement? What options are you able to use to lower your tax rate for retirement money? Just wondering that you must have some plan.
