That is awesome man. Cool to see something that we can actually relate to, as far as the finished product anyway.

That's a nice video. Well, the 86 seconds might be the speed of the final assembly line (it is a bit misleading with the paint shop and weld shop) but it would be interesting to know the total time it takes to complete a fiesta from the painted body in white (shell) to the instant it drives away from the line - the final assembly throughput time.

And a related question, are the Mexicans faster than the Germans?

Do my eyes deceive me or was that fiesta at 1:42 a molten orange titanium edition?

That is what it would appear to be. Unless the light is just deceiving us. Possible that its an option elsewhere.

Hi there. I'm a worker of Ford Germany but not in the production of the Fiesta. But I know some things. I have had the chance to walk next to my ST while it was assembled. From the moment it comes from the paint shop till finish line it last 6 hours

Do my eyes deceive me or was that fiesta at 1:42 a molten orange titanium edition?
It looks so because of the lights. Molten Orange, here in Germany it is named Lava-Rot, is only available for the Fiesta ST.
The colour of the Fiesta at 1:42 is Race-Red.

Because these arent ST's. There are only 2500 or so St's made a year.
You're wrong. At the Moment every day there are 60-70 ST's that were build per day.
Here in Europe is such a run for the ST that Ford couldn't know. So there will be more ST's than your 2500 will be build a year.
