H Street: father son adventure

Headed to Mineral Wells for the 1st round of testing. I bought some tires, wheels and studs. Already had numbers, data logger and cameras.

The goal of this build and car is to just run local but hoping to get my 16 year old to Nats in it this year.

Still plan on running the gulf car nationally.

B street 2x national champion. Won pro solo 2017 and nations in 2018 with Jeremy Foley driving. I was 0.07 out of the trophies.

205 re71’s on 16’s

This is going to be a budget build as it’s my daily.

Not saying I won’t go all in at some point but the 1M is my main focus. This will be a locals only car with my oldest boy but will run nats with him driving.

Took about 30 passes today in the car. It’s a lot of fun and handled well. I have to pull data and video. The car was about 1.5 seconds off of the 1M on a 24 second course.

No. I’m willing to but we have tested a lot on the 1M with the re71 felt like it was the thing to do.

2JR is a good resource for this. but I think its......rears are basically non adjustable and needs to be shimmed. Fronts can get -1.5* I think?

I can only work off of the stock OEM parts on the car in the class the car runs in. If it gets1.5 on stock parts that is pretty good.
