Hard to read dipstick!

I always have trouble figuring out the oil level because it's hard to read the dipstick. One side will be covered in oil and the other will have dry spots. The metal dipstick in my Focus is so much easier to read. Am I the only one who has trouble with it? If not, anyone have any tips?

yea, same here. i just bought the aftermarket dipstick from whoosh https://whoosh-motorsports.myshopif.../cravenspeed-the-dipstick-2014-2019-fiesta-st

apparently, our cars have had 3 versions, and some are easier to read than others. my 15 fusion was just as bad tho, so i think it's just a newer ford thing.

Thanks for the link, didn't even know that existed! I have a 2017 so it could be the same as your fusion. Definitely annoying.

Pretty sure we’ve bitching about the dipstick since 2014
