Heated Seats inconsistancy

Just trying to figure this one out, when I run my heated seats, it feels like they come on full blast, then shut off for 5min, and then back on, then off, and so on... anyone else noticed this?

Mine does that too, I assume its so it doesn't get too hot.

I live in Canada lol, there's no such thing as too hot :p

Thanks anyway, just wanted to make sure it wasn't defective.
