Hello Everyone,

Just pulled the trigger on a Fiesta ST today and delivery is this Friday. I am coming from Mitsubishi, was a former member of Mitsubishi Car Club of Canada. I own a Outlander and RVR and used to have a Lancer and have decided that it is time to move on. Test drove the ST and it was instant love. I felt like I was 16 again.

This car is going to be my daily highway driver, nothing too exciting, maybe some "Spirited" driving in Escarpment county but that will be it.

I hope to engage is some good discussion with you all and look forward to sharing my insight and advice where I can.

Cheers

Andrew

Welcome from a fellow Etobicokian. I've been trying to see if there is a Fiesta ST group in the GTA but no luck so far [:(]

JLittle created a Facebook group entitled "GTA FiST Owners Club"

and check out the Canadian Forum or South Eastern Ontario Members thread , in particular.

Thanks Lucas, Have you ever taken your ST through Rattle Snake Point , Mount Nemo, Kelso area? I love the Hammer, Lots of hidden Gems Like Webster's Falls.

One place I want to go to is Forks of the Credit (Belfountain) up in Caledon and try out the roads there. Have you been?

Not sure why anyone even bothers... its a 5 minute drive... and speed bumps... waste of time. Nice looking area but you can have more fun just doing a few on-ramps/off-ramps along the hwy.

Make a day trip to Bobcaygeon and do Hwy507 and then the north loop around Loon lake. 507 one way is ~35km, if you do both ways plus the north loop one way you get 125km of almost constant cornering.

You guys need to get into Autocrossing! I will be getting mine this week! There are many local clubs that have autocrossing across the GTA. check out http://www.casc.on.ca/ this will be your guide into grassroot motorsports! I've been doing this since 2004 and it's very inexpensive to get into and it's a blast.
