Just wanted to introduce myself, I am a new owner of a 2016 FiST. I have been looking for a decent forum for this car. Is this the one? Looks like a couple others I found are dead.
Apparently like many I was looking for a used focus st. I test drive five of them and none of the dealers wanted to work on price much. Best one I found had some issues and then a guy at work told me about a new fiesta st locally. I had driven a used one but it was pretty rough, so I wasn't considering them.
Went and checked out the new one and that was the one. Got it new cheaper than the used focus st I was looking at. So that's a plus.
It's magnetic metallic with the molten orange recaro seats. It's not perfect, rattles like crazy but I like it.
Did a couple mods the first week, cobb rear mount, mountune shifter, shifter bushings all the way around and a symposer delete. Much more enjoyable now.
If you read this far thank you. So, hello and hope to stick around her for awhile and learn about this platform. I had a decently modified Mazdaspeed3 and I must say the FiST is more fun even though it isn't as quick. Have a good one.
