Just wanted to introduce myself, I am a new owner of a 2016 FiST. I have been looking for a decent forum for this car. Is this the one? Looks like a couple others I found are dead.

Apparently like many I was looking for a used focus st. I test drive five of them and none of the dealers wanted to work on price much. Best one I found had some issues and then a guy at work told me about a new fiesta st locally. I had driven a used one but it was pretty rough, so I wasn't considering them.

Went and checked out the new one and that was the one. Got it new cheaper than the used focus st I was looking at. So that's a plus.

It's magnetic metallic with the molten orange recaro seats. It's not perfect, rattles like crazy but I like it.

Did a couple mods the first week, cobb rear mount, mountune shifter, shifter bushings all the way around and a symposer delete. Much more enjoyable now.

If you read this far thank you. So, hello and hope to stick around her for awhile and learn about this platform. I had a decently modified Mazdaspeed3 and I must say the FiST is more fun even though it isn't as quick. Have a good one.

Welcome from a little bit to the north. Congrats!

This has been the best forum I have found. I don't post a ton but I've learned so much in the past year. A great knowledge base for sure.

I tried another forum, but it was pretty dead. This one is pretty active, lots of knowledgeable folks that aren't rude about their opinions (or yours). I plan to stick around.

Welcome to the club!

This forum helped me build my first house, introduced me to my wife and gives me a foot massage at the end of every hard day at work. None of that is true. Welcome.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I dumped my mazdaspeed3 when my daughter was born and I've been saving for something bigger and better. I couldn't wait another couple of years to get an sti or focus rs. Not saying I settled, I was saved by the fiesta st...From boredom and boost withdrawals.

I was stuck with an 05 scion xb auto for the last 2+ years and I seriously thought about driving it into a tree.

Needless to say the fiesta has impressed me quite a bit to the point where I may keep it much longer than I anticipated.

Hope you all had a good thanksgiving.
