Idle issues again...

Idle revs and climbs up slowly to around 1400 after sitting for a minute in the stop light followed by check engine. Now, i do have a occ but i double check it and replaced the hoses and made sure everything was tight. It seemed to have work the first 2 weeks but now it came back up... Code popped up p0507. I also have a boost gauge and it seems to shake the needle as well when it idles funny so it tells me theres a leak somewhere but can seem to narrow it down. This is an issue that comes and goes anyone can help before i take to the dealer and leave it for 15 yrs?

A P0507 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:
A vacuum leak
Leaking air intake after the throttle body
EGR valve leaking vacuum
A faulty positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve
Damaged/failed/dirty throttle body
Failed EVAP system Failed IAC (idle air controller)
Faulty IAC circuit

HOW did you check for vaccum leaks? cigarette/cigar/DJ smoke machine? Spray bottle? And please be more specific on the timeline....

Did it start before or after the OCC was installed?
Did it start before or after the boost gauge was installed?
Was the boost gauge installed the same weekend? How long before the first symptom?
Did it start before or after any other changes?

Take the OCC off completely...clear codes and see if it comes back. If it doesn't return that shit and get another one or a different OCC from another vendor.

I have the Damond Motorsports OCC and it has in the instructions that if the valve that drains the oil is not closed and seated you'll have terrible idle issues.
I have found this out by opening the valve while the engine running! It was ugly!

Other things to check while the OCC is hooked up: if it has a valve in one of the lines verify that the valve is pointing the correct direction. Take the valve out and verify that it is not sticking closed.
