My current set up induction wise is a cone filter and silicon hose, however I feel I'm not getting the most out of it sucking up hot air from the engine bay! Does anyone know where to source just a heat shield alone instead of buying a new induction kit to replace the one I already have?

For example: http://www.j1automotive.co.uk/oursh...r-Intake-Kit-ST180-16-Ecoboost-202054102.html

Unless you fab one up yourself there aren't any shield only options that I know of. You could call a company who sells an intake and ask if they will sell you a shield separately. Otherwise, you will have to buy an intake. FYI, with a straight up open intake filter like that, you are probably better off with the stock box setup. Ask me how I know...
