Interior lighting mod for 2015 ST?

The color changing LEDs are an awesome feature! Whenever riding with my friend, he always spams the color change button in tune to the beat of whatever song we're listening to. I really would love to figure out a way to have these awesome color changing lights in the foot wells react to the music I'm playing in the car. It might be pretty complicated, but does anyone have ideas on how this could be done?

Actually not too complicated. Now I will provide the theory but not if the parts exists. Basically you need to find something that reacts to sound. That are a few devices I know for LED strips that have a mic input and heavy base triggers the output. Alternativly if you can splice into a speaker and get a cut over at frequencies you could use that. Once you figure that source out (trickiest bit) simply wire a relay in parallel to the button. I would add a bypass switch to disable the feature when you want to.
