Am I crazy or is there no aux input? Just the 2 USB ports in the arm rest.

Is there a usb to headphone jack type wire so when guests are in the car and they just want to plug in but don't have their own phone specific usb or don't want to have to set up sync with Bluetooth?

No aux input. If you want to listen to a guest phone, your best bet is to pair it to the Bluetooth. I haven't checked to see if you can pair two phones at once.

What's wrong with USB input?

Unless it's apple, should just work as a USB device if the user activates it.

The problem is that on the phone end of the usb wire it's not standard. Different phones use different connections so unless the passenger knows to bring their own phones specific USB it's not universal and I'm not going to have a plethora of different style usb wires laying around my car.

An aux input that uses the headphone is much more universal.

My brother paired his phone with my bluetooth while my phone was connected. Just has to set his as primary temporarily and he could play through bluetooth audio source fine. That's the best solution. It's not as easy as an aux port, but Ford decided most people are moving away from AUX ports by now in favor of using USB or bluetooth. Apple is the one with the weird connector. Androids only use one of two connectors, USB micro or USB 3.0 micro.

Well android having 2 different wires needed and I have an iPhone that's 3 wires I would need to keep in the car to have everyone covered.

I guess everyone will just have to deal with my Pandora while they ride with me.

Just pair them all via Bluetooth. I have 4 phones paired to my car. When, say my daughter, wants to play her music I turn my bluetooth off and she turn hers on. That's it. Do it all the time.

Right that's fine for say my gf who's in my car regularly but someone else who isn't and I'm just giving them a ride it's a pain to go through the whole pairing process especially since it won't let you do it when the car is moving.

If you are doing them the favor of giving them a ride, they can make appreciative noises about your musical selection.

Its actually just two unless (USB Micro fits in USB 3 Micro so moot point to carry both)you happen to get one of those very few with USB C. They also usually carry a cable with them if they want to charge, or just won't care about playing music.

The '16s have two USB ports inside the armrest console, but no 3.5mm Aux-in.

Don't know if it'll work but they're cheap enough to try it anyway
