Just bought a 2016 FiST!

I just purchased a stock 2016 Fist with 30K miles on it. Enjoying the car with exception to the Recaro seats. They're a little tight on the ribcage. Hoping they will stretch out however, since the previous owner was smaller than me. I'm 5'11", 200lbs.

Anyway, the first mod I will probably do is lower it. Not going the coil over route, just springs.

I'm currently looking at these options:

I like the Eibach on the Peugeot 208 GT and there are a lot of Mountune after market parts for FiST, generally high quality. I'm not familiar with Whiteline.

I would recommend not lowering it, at least until you've had a chance to drive it and get to know it as it is. The car is very well set up from the factory. If you do wait, then you'll have a baseline to compare from and you can see if you like it better with the change or not.

I put the lowering springs on because I like the look with the color of my car. I also added 5 mm spacers to the rear. The ride quality and bottom clearance is worst. You also lose space for running a taller tire in the future. I can live with these sacrifices for my car. I would try it stock for awhile, than decide what to do.

The Recaros will stretch a bit. I am 6' and 235lbs. (Was 250 when I bought the car) I love them. But, when I sit in the passenger seat, it is tight!

Awesome! Glad to hear that! That gives me some hope. I'm currently trying to lose some more weight and get down to 180. I may end up fitting in them better when that happens. We will see.
