LC2I fronts or rears? has it been settled?

Hey, so im about to install an LC2I and keep hearing that the our internal processor does something to the rear outputs which will send a lower V to the LC2I and to tap into the front speaker wire instead. Has anyone actually tested this or is this just he said she said etc?

On mine I tapped into the rears and I dont have a problem just had problems with setting up the lc2i...I got tired of it and switched a dsp

I would say it depends on how you have your fade and balance set up in the car.
