Well unplug the negative battery cable and go back to bed. Worry about it during the day time.....[wrenchin]

Could also be the hood latch sensor...FYI...may need to use forscan to look into it though

The hood ajar switch is located just below the hood latch.
It is just a switch and has a 2 pin connector C127.
C127 pin 1 goes to ground, pin 2 to the alarm system.
When the hood is closed pin 1 & 2 should be connected.
