Before I tap into the rear door speaker wiring at both B pillars, I need to know if the Sony processing cuts off any low frequencies. I'm getting ready to install my subs and want to be sure I'm getting full range input to the amps. Thanks.

I would say no. I tapped into my rear speakers to run my sub and it works great!

I spliced into mine it worked for a couple weeks then the one I spliced into stopped working and now my radio acts like a scratched cd whether it's a.m. f.m. or bluetooth. Someone help!

Sounds like you toasted your speakers. Did you add a crossover?
