Lower Dash Removal: Drivers Side

I am curious if anyone can help me understand how the lower portion of the drivers side dash with the air bag is removed. The top half just snaps out but can't figure out how the bottom is secured.

There are two 10mm nuts on long studs. One is easy to get to, the other not so much. Search for posts regarding replacing the blend door actuator. One of those posts has pictures removing the bag.

What a bitch a spot for the nut in front of the brake. My deep socket was a tad too long and once the bolt was nearly off had my small ratchet bumping into the plate for the brake switch. Got the top clutch switch back in though with the panel off.
