Hey all!

Glad to finally join the forums here!

I originally purchased my 2014 Tuxedo Black Fiesta back in April of 2016, used, with 13,000 miles on it. Since then I've shown it plenty of love and will be installing the first round of mods in the coming week.

However, I've seen one issue I can't seem to fix, and I'm looking for some help. Since I installed an amp for my subs the push to start hasn't worked like it should. The push to start requires me to turn on auxiliary power before depressing the clutch, then I have to push to start again with my foot on the clutch again. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so, how did you fix it?

Anyways... Glad to finally join and I'll be sure to post some pictures in the near future. :)

Start by reversing your steps; disconnect the negative lead to the amp. But guessing, it sounds like there may be too much initial draw on the battery. Connecting a volt meter during the crank will verify. You can also remove the battery and have a local parts store test it at no charge.

Let us know what you find.
