Milltek vs Thermal exhaust

As posted elsewhere, I am in the midst of my OEM+ fiesta build. I’m essentially trying to create what I’d imagine Ford would have produced if it created a Fiesta RS.

Next up, I am addressing sound. For intake I am installing an ST200 box with a whoosh crossover pipe. Seems the obvious choice for an OEM+ build.

Where I’m undecided is exhaust. It seems, based on a search and YouTube sound clips, that Milltek and Thermal offer the most drone-free, subtle options. My question to the group is: has anyone heard both of them in person? If so can you comment on the differences? For the Milltek I would probably opt for the non resonated version with the back box (not straight pipe). Despite not having a resonator, it seems quite subdued.

I know folks like the thermal as well. Curious what everyone thinks!

I remember when I first bought my FiST new 8 years ago I got the Thermal then and still love it. Everyone raving about its drone free tone is probably deaf or not hyper sensitive to noise. It definitely has drone but its very very subtle and way less then other systems.

I absolutely love the sound of the milltek but think there may be SOME drone in the race version, so it’s very helpful to know I’d be dealing with the same with the thermal.
