Mk6 limp mode

New owner of this stunning Mk 6 st.

Sadly having issues after only a couple of weeks of ownership and wondering if anyone has experienced the same?

Started yesterday out of the blue- suddenly mid country drive- engine check light came on and went into limp mode.

Diagnostic is currently displaying-
P2107 Throttle actuator control module processor
P2110 throttle actuator forced limited rpm
P0607 Control module performance

So far we have -
Cleaned throttle body
Checked spark plugs
Cleared codes

Sometimes it starts and will rev perfectly for a minute or so but more often than not starts straight into limp mode.

I wanna say it may have what they call a Fly by wire throttle. So the throttle pedal may be the culprit as it sends the signal to the throttle body and if it no longer can* it will go into limp mode to protect the Engine from itself. Look into the throttle pedal Assembly.

many thanks! Have ordered a new throttle body- it’s going to be a process of elimination I think. Ecu to be looked at next. 😔
