MK8 Fiesta ST limited to 5k after remap

Hello there,

I recently got a stage 1 remap with no hardware today. However as I left the shop, the car started to misfire upon any load on the engine. I then got the technician to re flash the map onto the car and the misfire stopped, however now the car is only revving to 5k-5.5k. Any ideas what this may be?
