Mk8 start up issue

Hey Guys, I hope someone can help me with this.


My Mk8 fiesta St has developed a weird intermate start up problem.


When I come to start the car it'll just tick..

Can't be jumped only a slight bump will get her kicking over straight away.


New battery fitted, new alternator fitted,new fob battery, (issue arisesed even when car was stock)

Check the NEG battery cable where it connects to the body at firewall.
You may need to remove paint under the cable.

Thanks for your suggestion. Checked which looked perfectly fine. When driving I have no hiccups or stuttering. It's like you haven't pressed clutch down to start even though I have
