Does the Mountune OTS MAP remove the torque limitations in gears 1-3 like the Cobb MAPS?

No torque limiters in gears 1 to 3 stay intact with the Mountune MP-215, so you don't get excess torque steer and the power gets to the ground in low speed corners. Probably easier on the gear box as well. But if you like needlessly spinning your tires in the lower gears, Cobb would be the way to go for sure.

Thanks for the speedy replies. I am not sure if I want to install the Cobb AP I just recieved. Not sure if I want to put the extra stress on the transmission.

torque limiters aren't need in the lower gears until you start running ethanol or a bigger turbo.

As long as you shift without grinding gears your tranny will be fine.

I don't use the torque by gear limitations unless asked for. Most people want as much wtq as they can get. :)
