Mountune rear motor mount problem

Question for anyone who has installed a mountune RMM. The motor mount I received has a pin that seems too short. It seems like when the pin is positioned where it needs to be on one side it is too far sunken into the other side (see picture). Is this a defect or just how it is designed?

That doesn't look right to me -- there are better pictures on mountune.com (UK site) than mountuneusa.com . As I recall, the washers locate on that pin, so it should protrude slightly on both sides.

It might be a smidge too short. I know the machined side is supposed hold the factory washer. Maybe it got pressed in too far ??
