16 Kona Blue ST

Thought I would give an official introduction with some photos of Pepe, my 16 Kona Blue ST. I actually picked this up from a forum member a few months ago, so I'm glad I joined and was able to make that happen!

Since picking him up I've been slowly making it my own. I have some classic team dynamics wheels on it, I'm not sure which model as I picked them up off marketplace and I can't find the exact wheel anywhere online mentioning a model name. But with the tires they are only 36lbs, so enjoying that. Also got the windows tinted to 35% all around. Did a 3 step paint correction, replaced a blend door actuator, and got a fresh alignment. Been enjoying my commutes in this fun little zippy car and my kids love riding in it as we call it "the sneezing car" with it's whoosh BOV. Lol.

My toys before the ST were a R53 Mini Cooper S, and a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. This car is definitely on par or exceeds the others in many categories.

This is my fun toy/daily so I'm not going to go too crazy with it, but I'm on the lookout for good marketplace or forum finds to upgrade the suspension and get this thing making some noise with an exhaust if I can find some good deals.

I also have a 2020 Ranger Lariat and I work for a Ford Dealership in Richmond, VA so if anyone has any questions about part numbers or part availability from Ford just hit me up, happy to look up info for anyone.

Welcome, it's a fabulous car and outperforms many cars that might look better on paper or cost a lot more. I've been fortunate to own some nice cars during my life and this may be my favorite one that I've ever had.
I have that same year and color and love the color. Kona Blue was only available on the 2016 models so you have somewhat of a rare model.
36 lb is good for a wheel/ tire combo, that's where I am with my Team Dynamics wheels. That's about 5 lb lighter than stock, which is a significant and helpful reduction in unsprung weight.
