Metro Detroit welcomes you to the forum. Also, I am curious about what was going on with the Taurus SHO that triggered the change? Chassis issues? Engine or trans issues? Just plain tired of cracking the whip on a pig?

Well February I had the fun turbo failure that killed my engine so 7k went out on that. Then it started to feel like the trans was going and I said that's enough. On top of what little drive I have I was spending 25-30 a week on gas so i kicked the pig to the curb. Heres a vid I thought it was just the rear turbo it was both lol. The FiST still has enough room to squeeze the kids in so not real upset about the size.

Wow. That sounds pretty devastating. Kids are resilient. They can get by for much longer periods of time in cramped spaces than adults. Just buy one of those giant packs of juicy fruit gum and hand them a stick of that when they start bitching about the tight conditions!
My Dad did that with my younger brother back in the early 70's when we had a Pinto wagon. It worked great. But my brother says that every time he flies coach, he can only get settled in if he has a stick of Juicy fruit gum! Ain't psychology great!

Nice, and My mom used to drive an 87 2dr cutlass. Granted it is bigger then this car but I always hated getting the back seat of a 2dr. Yea that whole fiasco turned me off the car for sure. It was a nice car it just to the point of where it was a worry to drive it.
