my 97 eclipse Turboed GS

I used to have a 97 eclipse gs. I had the motor built with JE pistons, eagle rods. I had a Hahn race craft super 16g turbo kit. Made my own custom intercooler set up using a old fmic off a starion and bent piping. I was running 17psi and I would hit 107 mph in the 1/4 mile. Man that car was fun. It was pretty fast for the late 90's I have a few pics from when I had it at my friends used car lot trying to sell it.

My best friend just picked up a mint '99 that was elderly owned/garage kept most of its life until the previous owner, a Mitsu technician owned it for the past year. That thing is surprisingly peppy in it's stock form! I really enjoy it. Awesome, underrated cars that you can pick up super cheap.

Mine was a 420a non turbo originally. Same motor as the neon. It was a beast once turboed. I lowered the compression to I think 8:8:1. Back in those days turboing a NA car was risky

have only had 1 none AWD turbo mitsu since.

Not including my new fiesta.

We had a couple badass 1g dsm's in the Orlando dsm club. Had one running 9's and one running 10's back in the early 2000's
