need help with resetting an overheat code and why is the car

producing alert chimes every time I open or close a door. That is getting really annoying and I discovered to day that if it's parked in my garage with the door unlocked it will chime about every 5 minutes. Was doing a wax job when I noticed it doing this crapwhen the car is unlocked. Right now I have the battery disconnected going on 15 minutes. Plan on waiting for a full half hour before re-connecting.

You may be able to reset the overheat code with an accessport if you have one. If not, you can also do it using FORscan (free) plus the recommended dongle (~$40) https://forscan.org/home.html
