Just joined last week after purchasing 3 weeks ago. I'm fairly new to the performance car scene. Bought a 2015 STi in November when I saw one nearby for a good price. Hadn't driven anything "sporty" since 2000. Bought it pretty much on reputation alone. Turned out not to be the right fit for me. I wanted something easier to live with daily and a little less "in your face." My oldest son will be turning 16 soon and I want to teach him do drive stick, but I didn't want to do it in an STi. Enter the FiST. We didn't need anything big, as we have 2 bigger cars already for the family and our dogs. It reminded me of my first car, a Mk1 GTI.

Anyway, great little car. I am very intrigued by the modification capabilities. I've got a RMM and quick shift kit coming this week and I'm having a subwoofer put in as well. Not sure if I'll do much else just yet. May just enjoy it like this for a while. It seems the possibilities are endless and I'm really looking forward to having fun with it for a long time.

Yes, congrats and WELCOME!

I also had an A1 GTI ('83), and I am hoping that this car (when I have it) is as 'tossable' as that 1st gen hot hatch was, while being much quicker in a straight line, and with even better overall handling dynamics. ;)

The shifter was the only thing that really bothered my on the test drives, so I will have that (complete boomba kit) ready for install on delivery, as well as the CP-E RMM I already have waiting.
