Hi everyone,

I was trawling t'interweb looking for some information on the ST, and Google popped this site up. Loads of very useful information on here - more than the European sites.

Anyway, my name's Russell, I'm a Brit who lives in the tiny Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, but I spend a lot of time visiting the U.S for business and because I have family in Chicagoland.

I bought a new ST-2 in what's called Frozen White here, with the partial leather Recaros, back in March, and have only made some lighting changes so far - replaced dipped headlight bulbs for something much brighter, matching the DRL more, changed orange indicators for Philips Silverline bulbs all round and footwell and boot lights for LEDs.

The car was delivered with 16" Fiesta Titanium alloys wearing Pirelli SottpZero snow tyres, but now wearing 17" Rado grey alloys.

Some pics from collection and then with the 17s fitted.

I've ordered a couple of cosmetic interior pieces this week, a Cobb knob and a dead pedal from searching on here, which I'll collect in the U.S next week.

Thanks!
Russell

Welcome! White is a great looking color on these cars. Any plans, other than driving, for it?

Hi, sorry, perhaps my original post wasn't very clear: in Lux we have to have winter tyres form Oct-Apr, and as the car was delivered to me in early March, it had to come with winter tyres. The dealer had a package for FiTit alloys with snow tyres as they said 15" steelies wouldn't fit, only 16" alloys. They look better than black or silver steelies anyway.

At the moment, other than the interior bits, I just want to drive it. It will probably be Mountune'd later this year. My days of mad car modding are behind me - I'm a bit older than many of you guys, I suspect, at 44.

I'll see how I go next winter with 16" again...maybe I'll go to 15" after.
Wausau, WI, huh?
I'll be in the Dells in a couple of weeks, and my nephew's at Marquette, so I've been to WI a few times. :)

Welcome to the forum, Russell! If you're from the UK, I'm guessing living in Luxembourg means you do not have to switch your driving "habits" from right-hand drive to left-hand drive when visiting the US...nice.

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, I passed my test aged 17 in 1987, drove RHD until I moved to Lux in 1998, then LHD since, so I'm more used to LHD than RHD now.

The more people post here, the more links I find I have to the areas you represent across the U.S. .... I've a friend who lives in Northridge, CA - Eccles St. to be precise! [ninja]
