No More Spool Noises with BOV?

I have a x47r turbo and on the stock diverter valve the turbo made a nice whistling noise and I could get a sort of flutter if I played around with the throttle. I installed a Turbosmart EM Dual Port VR2 bov and it seems to have removed any turbo spool noise. Of course I expected the loud PSHH when I let off the throttle but all of the other turbo sounds that I enjoyed have vanished. There are no boost leaks and everything was installed correctly. Has anyone else experienced this?
