Just picked up a used 2014 fiesta, problem is it only has one key. I believe its the original, has the ford logo and unlock lock buttons and a trunk release. I called a local dealer and they quoted me $360 for a spare key to be cut and programmed. I see a buncha keys on ebay and amazon, is there any way for me to get one of these and then program it myself and get a locksmith to cut it?

Get a new KEYFOB with Key...Bring it to a local Locksmith that can cut it and program the FOB also. Just make sure its a FORD KEYFOB NOT a generic one! [thumb]

Do the generic ones not work? Any advice on where to get an actual Ford fob that isn't $350?

The local locksmith says they can both get AND program these keys, if you have one. It's still gonna cost ya, just not as much as a Ford Dealership.
